2024 Challenge Categories
3D Nails: This challenge invites competitors to explore the endless possibilities of 3D nail art, blending textures, colors, and shapes. Will you opt for seashells, candy, or perhaps something truly unique? With just 40 minutes on the clock, the pressure is on to complete a stunning 3D design on a set of five tips.
Black Tie Affair: Elegant and sophisticated nails for special occasions are the focus of this category. Create dazzling manicures using neutrals, metallics, and glitter in just 40 minutes on one hand of a live model. The result should be as stunning as it is sophisticated, perfect for any black-tie event.
Creative Chrome: Chrome nails are in high demand, and this challenge pushes the creative boundaries of this popular trend. Competitors must craft an innovative chrome design on a set of five tips within 40 minutes. How will you make chrome stand out?
Sculpted Shapes: From almond to stiletto, shape is everything in the world of nails. This category challenges nail techs to sculpt their preferred shape on one hand of a live model. With only 45 minutes available, precision and expertise are crucial.
Out of This World Nails (Virtual): Bringing the show’s ‘Next Gen Beauty‘ theme to life, this new online category challenges contestants to design the most creative galaxy-themed nail set. Submit your photos and a video of an out-of-this-world set to compete in this otherworldly category.
