Step-by-Step Guide to Fall Matte Nails
- Prep the Nails: Begin with thoroughly prepped nails ready for acrylic application. Clean, file, and shape them to your preference.
- Start with a Nude Base: Apply your favorite nude base, like the VBeauty Pure cover acrylic nude, as your foundation. Ensure that each nail is evenly filed and shaped.
- Apply Base Coat: Use a gel base coat to create a smooth surface for your design. Cure the nails under a UV/LED lamp for 30 seconds.
- Create French Tips: Use a 20mm liner brush and #133 VBP to create light brown French tips. Apply two layers, curing each for 30 seconds.
- Add Fall Designs: Using the same liner brush, draw vertical lines on your French tips with #138 VBP. Alternate with black (#048), white (#045), and dark brown (#138) gel polishes, curing for 15 seconds in between each line.
- Incorporate Additional Elements: Add depth to other nails with diagonal lines, stripes, and curves using the same colors. Cure for 15 seconds between each line.
- Finish with Matte Topcoat: Seal your design with the VBP matte topcoat and cure for 30 seconds.
- Add Knit Pattern: Paint straight lines using your liner brush, creating a twisted, criss-cross pattern. Pour clear acrylic powder over the design, cure for 30 seconds, and brush off excess powder.
- Create Ombre Nails: Fill your airbrush with Luxa’s Copy Cat and thin with nail polish thinner. Spray lightly from 6-8 inches away, gradually building color. Cure for 30 seconds.
- Apply Rhinestones: Use Makartt glue to add rhinestone accents. Finalize your design with a matte topcoat to seal everything in!
