Inspiration Behind the Book
Julie Kandalec conceived the idea for this book following an extensive cover shoot where she had to design 40 nail looks. She drew all 40 designs during her flight home from Tokyo, a task that saved considerable time. Regularly devising nail art looks for clients, brands like Essie and Christian Siriano, and on-set for publications like Elle and Cosmopolitan, Julie understood the necessity for a visual and tangible resource that could transform creative ideas into reality.
“Now that we are all home and salons are slowly re-opening, but with limited services, saving time is vital,” Kandalec emphasizes. “My aim with the Nail Art Design Book is for every nail art lover to utilize it as a daily diary to inspire creativity and connection within the nail art community through collaboration.”
For those passionate about nail art, Julie Kandalec’s innovation provides a pathway to effortless design exploration and an opportunity to connect with nail art lovers around the world.
